A trendy new bar in central Tel Aviv has officially banned entry to any Israeli soldier in uniform or carrying a weapon, and will not stock or serve products made in Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria.
Ha'aretz reports that the bar, dubbed Rogatka (Hebrew for "slingshot"), is owned and operated by an "anarchist collective" that views the presence of Jews in the biblical lands of Judea and Samaria as an unjustified oppression of the Palestinian Arabs, and the Israeli army as the facilitator of that oppression.
The owners said they hope the bar will become a hub for radical left-wing activists.
