The snow in Jerusalem didn’t materialize, but there were some good rains over the Sabbath. The Sea of Galilee rose by 9 cm. (3.5 inches) over the weekend, and is now 1.21 meters (4 feet) below capacity. The lake has risen by 80 cm. (31.5 inches) since the beginning of the winter, with most of the increase coming during the past 10 days of precious rain. Please pray that the rains we’ve finally been getting will be multiplied and continue through February and March, and that all the depleted aquifers and reservoirs will be filled. Highs for today: Jerusalem: 46F (8C); Tel Aviv: 55F (13C); Eilat: 61F (16C).
