Police suspect Israeli soldier kidnapped near airport

Israeli police on Thursday afternoon were investigating reports that an Israeli soldier had been kidnapped near Ben Gurion International Airport.

Roadblocks were set up around the center of the country as police inspected cars for anything unusual.

Israeli media was silent on the affair, likely in response to a gag order that is typically placed on such incidents until they are confirmed and the police and army have had a chance to apprehend the perpetrators.
