Accusing Jews of harvesting organs becomes a fad

Hot on the heels of Israel's row with Sweden over a Swedish newspaper story accusing Israeli soldiers of harvesting the organs of Palestinian Arabs, an Algerian newspaper has asserted that a secretive international Jewish organization is kidnapping and stealing organs from Arab children in the African nation.

In a recent report, Algeria's Al-Khabar newspaper informed its readers that gangs paid by these shadowy Jews are currently roaming the streets and abducting young children. The children are then sent to Morocco and there sold to Israeli and American Jews, who then harvest their organs to sell in Israel and the US.

The story cited the head of the Algerian National Committee for the Development of Health Research, a Dr. Mustafa Khayatti, who insisted that the harvesting of organs from Arabs by Jews is happening across the Middle East.

According to Khayatti, Interpol and other international law enforcement are engaged in a major investigation to bring down the Jews organ trading ring.

The story was eagerly picked by Iran's state-run media, and reported matter-of-factly even by US-based Arab media like the California-based Watan weekly newspaper.
