Palestinian children urged to learn English, the language of their enemy

Western benefactors who thought that Israel was the only enemy in the sights of the Palestinians need to think again. On a popular children's program broadcast on Hamas's Al Aksa TV to households throughout the Palestinian-controlled territories, youngsters were encouraged to learn English, "the language of our enemy."

During an episode of the notorious Tomorrow's Pioneer's program last week, a child caller informed the host of the show that he wanted to be an English teacher when he grows up. When asked why he would choose that profession, the child answered, "To teach children the language of their enemy."

With a grin on his face, the host applauded the caller's choice and told young viewers that it is important to "study the language of our enemies."
