Human rights for all, except Jewish settlers

Tuesday, December 15, 2009 |  Israel Today Staff

A human rights group representing Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria were banned from participating in a large human rights rally in Tel Aviv last Friday.

The settler activists arrived at the rally, and like the other groups there, started handing out their literature, including a detailed report of human rights abuses against Jewish settlers during previous expulsions.

The left-wing organizers of the event, who insist that the Palestinians' human rights are being violated by the very presence of Jews in Judea and Samaria, demanded that the settler activists leave the scene and threatened to call in the police.

The leader of the settler human rights group told Israel National News that rather than argue the point, his group simply moved outside the rally grounds and continued distributing its material.
