A US Federal Court judge leveled harsh criticism at President Barack Obama and his administration on Tuesday for failing to adequately respond to an inquiry regarding a lawsuit against the Palestinian Authority.
The $250 million lawsuit was filed by the relatives of an Israeli security guard killed in Jerusalem in 2000 by Palestinian terrorists directly linked to the Palestinian Authority.
US District Court Judge Gladys Kessler requested that the Obama Administration "file a Statement of Interest in order to understand the international ramifications of any order it might enter, and to be apprised of our Government’s position about such ramifications."
When the administration failed to do so, and instead sent a canned response that offered no substance, Kessler slammed the White House as "particularly unhelpful."
