A four-year-old Israeli child was wounded on Saturday evening when Palestinian Arab stone throwers attacked his family's vehicle as it traveled in the Binyamin region of Samaria.

The child received medical attention at the site of the attack, and was evacuated to a nearby hospital for additional care.

Another Israeli motorist was also attacked and lightly wounded on Saturday evening near the Samarian Jewish communities of Ofra and Shiloh. The driver did not require hospitalization.

Jewish leaders in Judea and Samaria have noted a marked increase in the number of Palestinian stone throwing attacks against Jewish motorists of late. They have urged the army to view such attacks as acts of lethal violence and respond accordingly.
