Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip fired a rocket into southern Israel on Friday night, causing no injuries or damage.

Earlier on Friday, Palestinian sources in Gaza said at least two terrorist gunmen had been killed after being engaged by Israeli troops along the Gaza security fence.

The terrorist cell was attempting to plant a bomb near the fence when one of their explosives detonated prematurely, alerting nearby Israeli troops to their presence.

Also on Friday, a Palestinian man was shot and killed while trying to stab an Israeli soldier patrolling the old market area of the Judean town of Hebron.
