Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant last week expressed his strong admiration for the Jewish state in an impromptu meeting with Israeli Ambassador to the US Michael Oren following a home game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Following the game, Oren and Israeli Consul in Los Angeles Jacob Dayan visited the team area and ran into Bryant, who they invited to join them for Passover next month.
Bryant reportedly told the two: "I'm a big fan of the State of Israel."
The Israelis urged Bryant to visit Israel in the near future.
