Bolton: Israel must attack Iran now

Tuesday, March 09, 2010 |  Israel Today Staff

Former US ambassador to the UN John Bolton on Sunday said Israel is now facing the reality that if it does not attack Iran very soon, it will have to accept the Islamic Republic as a nuclear power.

Speaking to host Aaron Klein on WABC radio, Bolton brushed aside political and military naysayers, and insisted that Israel is capable of adequately damaging Iran's nuclear facilities.

"We know about the facilities... We know where they are," Bolton said. "I think they are susceptible to an Israeli attack."

The former ambassador insisted that an Israeli strike is the only option left that will prevent Iran from getting nukes, as the Obama Administration will not act in time and weak European sanctions have proved ineffective.
