One dead as Hamas rockets hit southern Israel

Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip fired two rockets at the southern Israel town of Sderot on Wednesday night and another toward the coastal city of Ashkelon on Thursday morning.

A Thai man working at the hothouses in the village of Netiv Ha'asara south of Ashkelon was killed in the Thursday morning attack. Two people, including a child, were treated for shock following the overnight attacks.

Sderot Mayor David Buskila told local media that while those were the only two direct casualties of the Sderot attack, there are many more in the city that are in a state of panic, fearful that at any time full-scale hostilities from Gaza could resume.
