Jerusalem was named as one of the top 10 travel destinations for the coming year by wildly popular travel review website TripAdvisor.
TripAdvisor features more than 30 million traveler reviews. It's Travelers' Choice awards are determined by the site's nine million monthly visitors.
Those visitors said there are just too many must-see cultural and heritage sites in Jerusalem for the city to not be in the top 10 travel destinations.
Other cities on the list included London, New York, Paris and Rome.
Israel has seen a major boost in tourism this year. In April, for instance, Israel welcomed about 317,000 visitors, a 26 percent increase over April 2009.
