Palestinian security forces have arrested five militants suspected of involvement in the Tel Aviv suicide bombing last month that killed five Israelis. The five are undergoing interrogation in Jericho. It’s the first arrests of suspected terrorists since Mahmoud Abbas was elected president two months ago. Abbas is under intense Israeli and US pressure to crackdown on terrorist groups. Palestinian police also seized bombs and weapons for the first time in more than four years, in a raid in Hebron. It’s not clear if the cache belonged to terrorists or criminals.
