Israel Today gives back to fire victims, and so can you

With the Carmel wildfire disaster finally behind us, many Israelis are returning to their homes only to discover how much they have lost.

Some 17,000 Israelis were evacuated during the fire, and many of their homes and communities were damaged or destroyed by the encroaching flames. Many more have had their livelihood adversely effected with the entire Carmel forest reserve being so severely ravaged.

Israel Today, like many other organizations in Israel, is preparing to give back, to help our brothers and sisters in the north in every way possible.

The first opportunity we have to do so is by donating 10 percent of all sales through our Jerusalem Depot online store to Lev Echad (Hebrew for “One Heart”), a charitable organization working hard to help the residents of northern Israel start their lives anew.

Lev Echad was established shortly after the uprooting of Gaza’s Jewish population in 2005. The founders were responding not only to the impossible situation of the uprooted Israelis, but also the increasing siege atmosphere that the residents of southern Israel found themselves living under with the terrorists now free to use Gaza as they pleased.

And now Lev Echad is focused on aiding the needy in northern Israel. For the next week, 10 percent of every purchase you make through the Jerusalem Depot will be donated to Lev Echad to help in their crucial work.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to not only boost the Israeli economy in a time of need, but to provide direct assistance to the stricken residents of northwestern Israel. Don’t hesitate - VISIT JERUSALEM DEPOT NOW.
