The weather in Israel

Thursday, March 10, 2005 |

The LATTER RAINS! Showers are giving the thirsty land a blessing late in the rainy season. Please pray that God will multiply the latter rains to help fill the Sea of Galilee and all the depleted aquifers and reservoirs. Most of the showers have fallen in the center and south of the country, meaning that the Sea of Galilee hasn’t received much of a boost. But more showers are expected over the Sabbath, including in the north. Highs for today: Jerusalem: 53F (12C); Tel Aviv: 61F (16C); Eilat: 68F (20C).
