Christians provide helping hand to Holocaust survivors

Yad Ezer L'Chaver (Helping Hand to Friends) and the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem have partnered together to purchase and renovate two apartment blocks in the heart of Haifa in order to provide a home for 130 Holocaust survivors in their latter years.

A tranquil garden seating area has been developed alongside the home for the survivors to enjoy.

This area has been dedicated to honor the memory of Ruth McDowell from New Zealand, remembering her as a true friend of Israel who lived out the essence of her biblical namesake as expressed through the immortal words of Scripture, "your people will be my people and your God my God" (Ruth 1:16).
