Despite all the hullabaloo over a Palestinian state, more and more Palestinians believe that it has no future, including the top Muslim leader in the large Judean city of Hebron.
"The world has no idea what goes on in the West Bank," said Sheikh Abu Khader Jabari. "Neither we nor Israel will profit from the recognition of a Palestinian State in the United Nations. [Palestinian President] Mahmoud Abbas climbed up the tree and now does not know how to climb down."
The mukhtar (village leader) from the biblical town of Hebron spoke to Israel Today at his home, saying both Israel and the Palestinians have made mistakes.
