For Bible-believing Israeli Jews there is no better demonstration of their faith and ideology than to physically work the Land of Israel.
The Psagot Winery in the tiny Jewish settlement of Psagot just north of Jerusalem goes a step further by teaching both fellow Israelis and visiting foreigners why their faith and ideology compels them to work the land.
The Psagot Winery's new mulit-million dollar center also acts as the official visitors center for the Binyamin Regional Council it is a part of. So in addition to being introduced to award-winning wines, visitors are also given a hi-tech crash course on why the region is so important to the Jewish people and the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
It may be situated off the traditional tourism trail, but there is no question the Psagot Winery/Binyamin Visitors Center is an important stop for Christian visitors wanting to get a first hand taste of just how alive the Bible still is in our day.
The next issue of Israel Today will include more information on the Psagot Winery as well as a story about the Christian group priveleged to harvest the Psagot vineyard every year (and how you can join them).
