More than 6,000 Evangelical
Christians from around the
world converged on Jerusalem
to celebrate the weeklong Feast of Tabernacles,
according to the biblical command:
“All the nations that went against
Jerusalem will go up from year to year to
worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and
to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles”
(Zechariah 14:16).
There were three Feast events, the
biggest sponsored by the International
Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) under
the theme: “Israel: A Light to the
Nations.” Opening night began with a
stream of pilgrims from some 80 countries
parading through the Jerusalem
Convention Center with their national
flags, and ending with an Israeli bearing
the blue and white Star of David to
thunderous cheers from the crowd.
