Israel Today helps underprivileged Israeli children

Monday, March 12, 2012 |  Israel Today Staff

In Jerusalem there are scores, if not hundreds, of children growing up in single-parent or dysfunctional families that simply cannot provide for all their needs. One of the most important needs is a place to go after school (which lets out at 1 PM in Israel).

Israel Today has teamed up with local charities to provide after school activities, and even a place to sleep, for the most needy among these children.

Our team recently visited a community center in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo where many of these children are now enjoying wholesome activities in a safe and friendly environment. And this provided for by the generosity of our Christian readers.

We urge you to help us continue providing for these children. It is an ongoing need.
