Terror groups agree to continue ‘cease-fire’

Thursday, March 17, 2005 |
Palestinian terror chiefs meeting in Cairo have decided to continue the cease-fire with Israel. "Participants agreed to maintain the recent calm in exchange for Israel's commitment to stop all forms of attacks and release prisoners," said a statement released after two days of talks. The terrorists can, of course, break the cease-fire when they see fit because Israel won’t cave in to their demand to release all 8,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, including thousands with Jewish blood on their hands. Leaving the door open for more terror, the final statement said the Palestinian people have the right to resist the Israeli occupation. The cease-fire was described as “open-ended.”
