Terrorist faction rejects cease-fire

As usual, there are some terrorist factions which have rejected the truce and vowed to wreck it. The Popular Resistance Committees, a group composed of disgruntled militants who broke away from various groups, said it would not abide by the truce because it was not invited to cease-fire talks in Cairo this week. “We reject completely the result of the Cairo conference since we did not participate,” said the group's spokesman Abu Abir. “This is a clear attempt by the Egyptians and the Palestinian Authority to ignore us." This underscores a fundamental problem. Terrorism could continue against Israelis, while the Palestinian Authority and even the main terror groups will absolve themselves of responsibility.
