Four Israelis wounded in Palestinian ambush

Israel decided to go ahead with the Tulkarem pullout, despite an ambush by Palestinian terrorists in Samaria that wounded three Israeli soldiers and a policeman. The attack underscores a perhaps fatal flaw of the cease-fire, namely that some terrorist factions don’t accept it. This creates an intolerable situation in which terrorism continues, but groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad--and the Palestinian Authority as well--are absolved of responsibility.
