BDS movement hurts Palestinians more than Israelis

Student organizations at universities around the world right now are debating the adoption of BDS (boycott, divestment and sanctions) policies toward Israel. Sadly, the people these anti-Zionist activists are truly hurting are the Palestinian Arabs whom they claim to champion.

Israel itself is paying only minimal attention to the BDS phenomenon. In the case of most institutions, student activism has failed to result in any concrete anti-Israel policies by the schools themselves.

But while the BDS movement has largely failed to apply any kind of significant economic pressure on Israel, its activities are having an detrimental effect on another population - the very Palestinian Arabs on whose behalf the BDS activists claim to be working.
