Palestinian Christians are furious that the Greek Orthodox Church reportedly sold property in Jerusalem's Old City to Jewish organizations. Greek Orthodox and other Palestinian Christians labeled the Patriarch a collaborator who is Judaizing Jerusalem and demanded his resignation. The Church says if the sale took place, it was not authorized. It's a coup for Israel, which has sought to tighten its grip on the disputed Old City with the legal purchase of property from Christians and Moslems.
