Putting Jesus Back in the Synagogue

Israeli academics and scholars are now willing to admit that certain passages were intentionally omitted from standard weekly synagogue readings because of their “Messianic” connotations. Were the passages so clearly pointing to Yeshua (Jesus) that the rabbis were afraid to read them in public?
