The 'Jesus Tomb' Controversy

When Holocaust survivor Yosef Gat found what appeared to be the “tomb of Jesus,” he knew it meant trouble. Gat kept his secret for 16 years, afraid of the anti-Semitism that would be stirred up by purported evidence defying Christian beliefs regarding the resurrection of the Lord. “I thank God his fears did not come true in light of the discovery of the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth,” said his widow Ruth Gat.
