IDF Medics Save Life of Gaza Terrorist

In yet another demonstration of how Israel differs from its enemies, an IDF soldier on Sunday posted to Facebook a photo (left) of he and his fellow army medics working to save the life of a wounded Hamas terrorist who only moments earlier had tried to kill them.

The soldier, Daniel Albo, posted the following caption along with the photo:

“Today, my unit and I saved the life of a terrorist who tried to kill us simply because we are IDF soldiers and Israeli citizens. We saved his life simply because we are human. Proud to serve in the IDF.”

Around the same time, Israeli army officials announced the opening of a military field hospital along the northern Gaza border in order to provide medical care to wounded Palestinian civilians.

Hamas continues to deliberately place the local civilian population in harm’s way as it attacks Israel, and the casualty figures are rising fast as a result.

In addition to trauma units, the IDF field hospital also has birthing rooms for pregnant Palestinian women who are unable to reach hospitals in nearby Gaza City.

These developments once again call into question widespread claims by Israel’s detractors that her agenda is genocide.

Since the start of hostilities over two weeks ago, Israel has carried out over 2,000 aerial strikes, in addition to its large-scale ground offensive. In all those attacks, just over 300 Palestinians have been killed, at least 100 of those being armed gunmen engaged in combat with Israeli soldiers.

And now Israel is going out of its way to treat wounded Palestinians and even save the lives of injured terrorists.

It has been said before, and it must be said again: If, as its foes claim, Israel is seeking the eradication of the Palestinian Arab population, then the Jewish state is by far the worst practitioner of genocide in the entirety of human history.

Given the evidence, perhaps such claims do not reflect reality?
