Palestinian gunman shoots Gaza settler

Tuesday, April 05, 2005 |

A Palestinian gunman shot and wounded an Israeli at the Jewish settlement of Morag in Gaza, violating the cease-fire. The Popular Resistance Committees, a coalition of disgruntled terrorists who broke away from other groups, claimed responsibility. It’s the typical Palestinian version of a “cease-fire,” though violence has dropped off drastically since the truce was declared at a summit in Egypt two months ago.
