Temple Mount tension brings Hamas threats

Friday, April 08, 2005 |
The Islamic terrorist group Hamas held a big rally today in Gaza to protest the planned demonstration at the Temple Mount. Some 40,000 Palestinians attended, as their leaders warned that any Jewish provocation on the Temple Mount would end the Mideast cease-fire. "They will not be able to storm the Al Aksa Mosque, Allah willing, but if they do, all that has happened during the so-called quiet period will disappear in the wind," said Nizar Rayan, a senior Hamas official. "We will move with our rockets and our fighters in order to defend Al Aksa and protect it. Not only Hamas, but all the Palestinians and Moslems."
