Palestinian police and gunmen clash in Jenin

Gunmen from the notorious Al Aksa Martyrs Brigade exchanged fire with Palestinian police in the town of Jenin for the second straight day. Trouble began when the terrorists refused to disarm as they entered a local courthouse. In one incident, gunmen seized a police car, disarmed the three officers inside, and riddled the vehicle with bullets. It's a bad sign for Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas who has vowed to end armed chaos. But his police seem powerless against the armed gangs that rule the streets.
