Tel Aviv on Friday hosted its 18th annual Gay Pride Parade, drawing an enormous crowd of 200,000 people.

Not a few homosexual IDF soldiers openly participated in the march.

The event makes its way through central Tel Aviv, and has been widely hailed by Mayor Ron Huldai as evidence of Israel’s openness and tolerance.

In fact, Huldai and the Israel Tourism Ministry have actively promoted Tel Aviv as a gay-friendly travel destination.
