Palestinian prisoners flashed the victory sign and kissed the ground after they were freed from an Israeli military prison. Israel says the release of 398 prisoners is aimed at strengthening “moderate” Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas. A total of 900 terrorists has now been released as part of the cease-fire agreement declared four months ago. But with more than 7,000 Palestinians in Israeli jails, the freed prisoners weren’t happy. “It’s not enough,” a prisoner told Israel Radio. “All the prisoners should be freed.” But Israel says that terrorists with Jewish blood on their hands will not go free.
