Israelis celebrate Jerusalem Day

The Temple Mount clash was sparked by tension over Jerusalem Day celebrations, marking the 38th anniversary of the capture of the sacred Old City during the Six Day War in 1967. Israel's message on Jerusalem day is that the city is not negotiable and will remain the undivided capital of the Jewish state forever.
