Every November almost every 18 year-old will report for recruitment and be distributed to their units.
Whether they will serve in special combat units, navy, air force, or any other unit, this is the occasion where families are particularly hard hit. The pride that their children serve in a specific unit is mixed with the incredible fear of "what happens when..." It is very difficult for the parents to give their child the "last" kisses and hugs before they get on the bus, which takes them to their bases!
But not all recruits are accompanied by family! Many young people start their service without the loving support of the family. They are alone. They are Israel's "lone soldiers" serving without family in Israel.
We want to give these soldiers a warm hug before they start their service and show them how appreciated they are!
Join us in supporting our "lone soldiers" with the the love and recognition they so deserve on their "big day".
