Israel's "Lone Soldiers" - Help Them Feel At Home In Israel!

Monday, November 20, 2017 |  Ariel Rudolph

My name is A.G., I was born and raised in Samara, Russia. In 2009 I left my family and friends and made Aliyah to Israel. In 2011 I stated my IDF service serving in the Iron Dome Missile Defense Unit. I was a part of all of the operational activities of the unit including reserve duty during two operations.

As my release date as a Lone Soldier approached, I attended a program where I got to know my rights as a released soldier and received financial support, advice, as well as assistance in searching for a job.

Even during the military operations, I received support and all kinds of help. I always felt that someone cared for me, which was especially important to me as a "lone soldier". I also received help to find a place to study and to stay in Israel as a reservist. I am grateful for the support and the help to make the right decisions and build a successful future in the land of Israel.

We would like you to help our lonely soldiers together with us!
