Jailed terrorist leader Marwan Barghouti said that if the Palestinian Authority will just remain steadfast, US President Donald Trump will soon disappear, and the "peace" process can return to being a fully anti-Israel affair.
Trump is expected to soon announce his long-awaited Middle East peace plan.
Barghouti urged Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas to reject it, no matter its content and no matter what pressure he might come under.
"We need to realize that Trump will be gone in a year or five years, but Jerusalem, Palestine [sic] and its people will remain and will pursue their resistance and struggle against the Zionist colonialism," he said.
Barghouti made the remarks on the 16th anniversary of his arrest and incarceration for leading the blood-soaked Tanzim terrorist organization and personally participating in the killing of at least five Israelis.
Despite his villainous credentials (or, perhaps because of them), many Palestinians see Barghouti as a natural successor to the Palestinian Authority presidency.
