Jewish settlers are reinforcing four communities in northern Samaria that Israel plans to evacuate this summer, after it removes all 21 settlements in Gaza. Thirteen families have moved into the settlement of Sa-Nur to resist the pullout, and they promise that thousands will arrive on foot when the evacuation begins. “The army understands that this task is too big for it,” a young woman told Israeli television. “It won't be able to remove 10,000 people who attach themselves to the land and refuse to leave this place.” The houses at Sa-Nur are full, so the new families are living in tents. They say they're willing to rough it to save the land.
