Israel's Shin Bet security service has smashed an eight-member Palestinian terror cell said to be planning a wave of suicide bombings. Four of the intended bombers were just 15 and 16 years old. The cell was recruited by the Al Aksa Martyrs Brigade, the military wing of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas’ ruling Fatah movement. The Shin Bet says there has been an alarming increase in the recruitment of minors by terrorist groups. Israeli officials blame the Palestinian Authority; they say the main reason the four-month-old cease-fire is holding is that Israel has thwarted many attacks.
