Come Plant Your Own Olive Tree In The Negev Desert

Thursday, August 30, 2018 |  Ariel Rudolph

By now you know about our olive grove in the Negev desert. On March 15 the first 1000 olive trees were planted, on April 22 the second 1000 trees followed, and on Thursday October 4 - just after the Feast of Tabernacles and Rejoicing in the Law - the next 2000 trees will be planted. And you can help!

On October 4th we have a special planting day in our olive grove in the Negev desert, close to the Egyptian border.

If you would like to participate, and you may even still be in Israel after the holidays and would like to witness the greening of the desert with your own eyes, please contact us by September 20 at the latest.

Please let us know if you will be participating:

Greening the desert with the help of drip irrigation. Kilometers of piping with small holes provide each tree with a daily portion of water and fertiliser.

Planting the second batch of a thousand olive trees.

The olive grove is located near Be'er Milka, Nitzana and Kadesh Barnea in the Negev, near the Egypt border.
