Palestinian gunmen fired in the air and set off a small bomb in Nablus, during a visit by Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia to a refugee camp in the town of Nablus. He was unharmed. As Qureia was leaving a refugee camp in a convoy, gunmen fired dozens of bullets and the bomb sparked an explosion that shook the area. "This is unwanted chaos,” Qureia said. “I announce that our plan to maintain security will start in Nablus." Nevertheless, the Palestinian Authority appears powerless to act against the terrorists and armed gangs that rule the streets. Nablus is known as a terrorist stronghold.
