Sunday, September 16, 2018 |  Ariel Rudolph

The shofar is blown on the Jewish New Year festival - Rosh HaShana, also called Yom T'ruah - "Day of Trumpets". It should remind us that God sits in judgment on the whole world on this day. (Leviticus 23:24) Ten days later, on the Day of Atonement - Yom HaKippurim, the shofar is sounded once again (Lev. 25:9) as the fate of each individual is sealed for the coming year.

Genuine half-natural ram's horn. The colors vary from light to dark brown.
