Jewish settlers clashed with Israeli soldiers who came to demolish several abandoned homes in the Gaza Strip, a possible forerunner of the violence ahead this summer when 21 settlements will be dismantled. Some settlers threw their bodies in front of the bulldozers and others climbed on top of them. They were dragged away kicking and screaming as protesters chanted, "Jews don't expel Jews!" The army destroyed 11 homes, most of them little more than skeletons, before the settlers arrived. But if abandoned homes face that kind of resistance, what will happen when the security forces start throwing Jews, more than 8,000 of them in all, out of their homes
