Desert Hike Day 7: A Summary

Monday, November 26, 2018 |  Israel Today Staff

For the most part, it is difficult for us to leave our comfort areas. “You’re off to great places!” - Dr. Seuss

But if we only dare get up and leave, meet others, to be in the least comfortable place, the place of survival, and difficulties. Hearing different languages in the background, food spiced with a little dirt. If only we dare….
Then we have an opportunity to meet ourselves. To get to know what we did not know and see that everything is possible.

The first Israel Trail hike was a complete success. In 7 days we walked about 120 kilometers. The hike has taken us to places we never thought possible. No two moments were alike and we tasted everything.

From breathtaking views and extraordinary connections with people and nature. And acquaintances with the Biblical paths of the Land of Israel. We walked many miles, climbed up, and descended realizing how much is possible. We experienced rain and realised its power.

Below is a selection of images that may make you want to be with us next time.
