Monday, January 21, 2019 |  Ariel Rudolph

Today Jews all over the world celebrate Tu BiShvat, the Jewish New Year for trees! This festival is also called "Chag Ha'ilanot" (Festival of Trees). Today many trees will be planted here in Israel which symbolizes a new beginning and a newness of life. Tu Bi'Shvat points to the coming spring, the end of winter, the spring blossoms and the beauty of nature.

You can actively support Israel on this festival by planting a tree in Israel!

In addition to planting trees, it is a tradition to eat many different (dry) fruit and nuts on this day, all produce of trees.

Dates are also among the healthiest fruits available and are considered a superfood. And to celebrate the day we are offering 25% discount off our organic Medjoul dates! Take advantage of our discount and pamper yourself with these delicious dates from Israel!
