PM to meet with European Jewish leaders

While Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is in France meeting with French President Jaques Chirac, he is also meeting with leaders of the European Jewish Congress to discuss the growing threat of anti-Semitism. The French criticized Sharon for saying that aliyah (Jewish immigration to Israel) is the best solution to anti-Semitism in France. The PM said he intends to repeat this statement at a rally he’ll be attending for French Jews, though he said he wasn’t singling them out.
