Gush Katif youth talk to soldiers

Saturday, July 30, 2005 |
Youth from Gush Katif have been making their way to the Kissufim Crossing late at night to plead with soldiers and military police not to uproot them from their homes as part of the government’s withdrawal plan. Soldiers have been instructed by their officers not to engage in in-depth discussion with the youth. The youth commented that the soldiers at the Kissufim border don’t seem to have any strong feelings about carrying out their duties and plan to do what they are told by their commanders. In spite of their lack of compassion toward them, the youth said they will continue to bless the soldiers no matter what they do to them.
