Israeli Jew drove suicide bomber into Israel

Tuesday, August 02, 2005 |

The Shin Bet, Israel’s security service suspects that 25-year-old Israeli Jew Kfir Levy from Ramat Gan and two Israeli Arabs drove last month’s Netanya suicide bomber into Israel. All three were indicted on manslaughter charges today in the Tel Aviv District Court. Levy claims he didn’t know the Islamic Jihad terrorist was a suicide bomber. But Police say Levy saw the two bags the man was carrying. Though Levy drove through an IDF roadblock, border police didn’t check his vehicle because it had Israeli tags. Israelis who help Palestinians to enter Israel illegally are an increasing concern for security personnel.
