IDF deploys troops along Lebanese border

IDF troops have been placed on high alert along the northern Lebanese border in light of intelligence reports that Hezbollah may attack before or during Israel’s planned pullout from the Gaza Strip. Several Arabic newspapers in Lebanon have reported that Hezbollah has bolstered its forces, an indication that they may be preparing to launch an offensive. Other IDF officers dismissed the reports as Hezbollah’s normal posturing. Israel is prepared in the event they do attack.
